Okay! Really you all think that stammers will leave a place that has only helped his playing. St louis has mentored stammers and had him set up for his goals!
You all need a reality check if you think he's leaving!
I live in Tampa and have many friends who work for TBL and he's not going anywhere!
We will see the flyers next year! with Stammers in the bolt uniform!

The Lightning has done a lot more than the Flyers in the last few years? I must have missed that... I guess if I look up some stats real quick I can verify your comment:

2008-2009
Lightning - 66 points, 2nd to last in the Eastern Conference
Flyers - 99 points, Lost to the Penguins in the 1st round of the playoffs

2009-2010
Lightning - 80 points, missed the playoffs
Flyers - 88 points, made it to the Stanley Cup Finals

2010-2011
Lightning - 103 points, lost in the 3rd round of the playoffs
Flyers - 106 points, lost in the 2nd round of the playoffs

So, to summarize, in the last few years the Lightning made the playoffs once, and lost in the Eastern Conference championship. The Flyers made the playoffs 3 times and made the finals once. I don't know man, I think statistics would say you are wrong.

"The reason TB hasn’t signed Stamkos is because that terrible Franchise is hemorrhaging money to the tune of between a 20-25 million dollar loss last year. "

This is being thrown about in a lot of blogs but, alas, never with any factual proof.

That "terrible franchise" sure has done a lot more in the last few years than yours, bucko. Sorry bout it. If Schenn was that good, he wouldn't have been dealt in order to bring in Mike frickin Richards, no matter how much of a crush you guys had on him. Quit thinking that Schenn and a mediocre goalie prospect is even remotely fair. It's stupid.

My man, I agree that Schenn is the #1 prospect in hockey and that Bob is a good young goaltender. But you really think trading a big time prospect and your BACKUP goaltender for one of the best scorers in the league wouldn't be a steal for the flyers? it would be robbery without a gun! If Stevie Y would make that deal he would be the laughing stock of the NHL.

Sknut, that is true that TB's owner is a billionaire. But you really think a smart business man would take on another 100 million dollar contract when he's losing a 20-25 mil a year, that would not make good business sense. And let's be honest all franchises are business' first, my point was that TB would get 2 young good prospects from the Flyers that are not making a ton of money now. That's why the trade made some sense to me.

Dbick, you have absolutely no clue what your typing about. Schenn is rated as the number 1 prospect outside of the NHL by multiple websites and people. Bobrosky is a good young goaltender with superior flexibility, and he is only 21. The reason TB hasn't signed Stamkos is because that terrible Franchise is hemorrhaging money to the tune of between a 20-25 million dollar loss last year. They may have to eventually take what they can get, because they will not be in a position of power to negotiate.
