why would you care? penguins arent in the same division as the caps. wouldnt even matter unless they meet in the playoffs and we all know the caps choke in the playoffs anyway

…and the award for stupidest comment goes to… bcjim! Congratulations for your totally ignorant want of goonish behavior and abject violence in a non-hockey manner. In a day when hockey is looking at how to eliminate the unnecessary violence, especially the lingering effects of head shots and concussions, it is refreshing to see that some still want to keep unskilled players (players? its hard to use the word player and Gilles in the same sentence without laughing) around for just those purposes. Way to go!

After the “effort” he put forth as a Capital, he should be embarrassed to set foot on American soil. I hope they sign some loser thug to just go Trevor Gilles on Jagr when they play.

Too bad the Flyers already said they are not going to resign Carcillo. So being as Pronger is always injured, Jags should have no trouble flying around the Flyers.

Jagr with Neal and Crosby could be a very effective line, or if Neal continues to play the way he did after joining the Pens and Jagr plays like Kovalev did, this could be a disaster. Either way, you have to give the Pens credit, whether you hate them or not, for attempting to address their biggest problem: wingers to compliment their very talented centers.
