As a Wolves season tickets holder, as well as a Blackhawks fan, this isn’t as complex as some make it out to be.
Who do I want to see win the Stanley Cup?
Blackhawks.
Who do I want to see win the Calder Cup?
Wolves.

No conflict.

Remember, the Blackhawks/Canucks rivalry is really only a few years old. In a few years, it may be a different rivalry completely.
The Wolves are a great organization, and have won 4 championships in their history. Anyone who would avoid them due to the Canucks relationship is missing out on some great hockey and a fun, reasonably priced night out for the family.

It’s an interesting move, especially because a lot of locals thought the Canucks were going to sign up with the Abbotsford Heat (1 hrs drive out of Vancouver).

Granted, if you saw the way the Canucks moved players up and down to massage their cap room, maybe it makes sense to have your call-ups flying back and forth from a central hub like Chicago.
