I wonder if there's any chance Teemu Selanne will finish his career as a Winnipeg Jet? He talks glowingly of the city and his time there, and who can't remember the image of him taking off his glove, throwing it in the air and shooting at it with his stick during his 76 goal season?

As far as my Flames go, I hope they resist the urge to waste all of their newfound cap savings on one overpriced "superstar" I'd rather they just sign a few moderately priced guys who can help them with their goal of getting back to the playoffs. For all of the crap they took last year the signings of Jokinen, Tanguay, Morrison and Jackman were very well priced and provided good bang for the buck, those 4 played a big part in their second half resurgence.
