Mike Green is HORRIBLE on defense. I’m sure he’s lost plenty of value on the trade market, but the Capitals would still be better-off getting whatever they can for him, along with making a coaching change.

The Capitals had a dream scenario this season with the Penguins having injuries to all sorts of starters. They didn’t have to face their nemesis(Crosby and the Pens) in the playoffs, they didn’t run into an unbelievable hot goaltender(Halak), and they still found a way to choke. The culture had to change, and the fastest way to do that is get Bruce B. out of there for someone new and fresh.
