Even Luongo has said as much.

Not that Luongo’s season numbers were bad or anything…. 2.11 GAA, .928 save percentage, and a record of 38-15-7 would probably win the Vezina every year. However, Tim Thoma’s numbers are a lot better and at the end of the season (when voting took place), the Canucks were seen as a far better team…. meaning Thomas did more, with less. Of course now many people would disagree with that, but that doesn’t matter given when the voting happened.

Thomas should still win it, but since votes were cast before the playoffs there is still a minor chance Rinne or Luongo could get it then. If postseason counted, there would be no other nominees. :)

He may not have the same numbers as the other two, but I really believe he was the best goalie in the regular season.

With that being said after the playoffs, I know think Tim Thomas is the best!

I will also repeat once again, Lulu Luongo is the most overrated goalie in the NHL!!!
