The Bruins dominance of the Canucks continued well into the third period as they got goals from Daniel Paille, Mark Recchi, Chris Kelly, and Michael Ryder  to help give the Bruins a 8-1 win in Game 3 and to get back into the Stanley Cup finals cutting the series lead to 2-1.

Tim Thomas‘s shutout bid was spoiled by Jannik Hansen‘s goal but he made 40 stops nonetheless to get the Bruins the win they needed to get back into the series.

We’ll have much more on the way throughout the night with reaction from the Bruins and Canucks after a chippy and bombastic game.

NHL needs to do something about diving big time. Sedin dropping to the ice grabbing his face after a shoulder to shoulder hit is bad. The only saving grace is the announcers aren’t shills and will call the players out readily.

I guess not dressing Seguin was the right call

Maybe the Bruins should get a player rung up three more times. 8-1 wow!! Horton getting railroaded worked out on the scoreboard. The trick is to select the right three players to get demolished. They might have 4 guys who can’t remember who they play for but the other 20 guys will be hoisting the cup.
