It took just 11 seconds into overtime, but the Vancouver Canucks grabbed a 2-0 lead in the Stanley Cup finals over the Boston Bruins. Prepare your outrage machines because it would be Game 1 controversial figure Alex Burrows would scored the game-winning goal.

Burrows got Bruins goalie Tim Thomas to commit too hard and get caught out of his net to beat him on a wraparound chance to give the Canucks the 3-2 victory.

Jones and Olcyzk crying about Laperriere, Burrows and “classless, cheap shot” hockey. Meanwhile, guys are getting speared and slashed in the stomach and Lucic and Co. continue to punch people after the whistle.

Boston fans turn from “So what? It’s hockey” to “OMG suspend him!!!” in less than a week. Burrows kills them singlehandedly.

This is poetic justice. Suck it, Beantown.

Bruins play tough. Vancouver is filled with a bunch of pathetic divers.

Vancouver is on top of their game, Boston is frustrated.

We’ll see how home ice affects the Bruins.

Lets face it the canucks are too much for this bunch of overachievers. They have finally caught on to Thomas and are just going to wait him out and fill the net. Now they are going to see why the canucks were the highest scoring team and they will steamroll the bruins while Chara sits and watchs just like he did tonight.
