According to the MTS Centre web site, for hockey, there are 4906 seats at the 100 level, 2778 seats at the 200 level, and 6085 seats at the 300 level, for a total of 13769 non-suite seats.

Good luck on getting tickets. I'm sure they'll be gone fast.

Welcome back to the NHL, Winnipeg.

Actually, the MTS Centre does hold 15,015 seats for hockey but a little more than 1,000 of those are in the 48 luxury suites which are already sold out, leaving approximately 14,000 'regular' tickets. Of these a few hundred are reserved by the NHL for each game so less than 1,000 would remain for walk-ups for any given game. Also, True North have stated they ARE cutting off season tickets at 13,000 in order for there to be a few walk up tickets available to each game. Through 2 days of Moose season ticket holder pre-sales they've sold 4,170 tickets according to their website with one more pre-sale day to go today (Friday). If the first two days are any indication (1,870 & 2,300 sold each day respectively) they'll be in the 6,500 to 7,000 range by the end of the pre-sale tonight. Come the general on-sale Saturday at noon I think they'll be sold out in a matter of minutes given the amount of buzz around the city. It seems that everyone in Winnipeg, myself included is chomping at the bit for season tickets, high cost and 3-5 year committment notwithstanding.

That's... actually kind of impressive. I didnt' think they'd sell even that many total before the start of the season.

Kudos to Winnipeg, they're really on board with this. Keep it up.
