		<description><![CDATA[It&#039;s sad that a request like this even has to be made. And yet, every year we see a city get torn apart thanks to some sports championship or other. Los Angeles, Denver, Montreal... looking out my office window, maybe it&#039;s just as well that sports here in Washington D.C. is in such horrible shape. Most of those museums don&#039;t react well to drunken bonfires, no doubt.

What is it about human nature that causes people&#039;s brains to melt over something as trivial as a sports championship? Should that REALLY be a reason to flip cars and light fires? Because a bunch of millionaires you&#039;ve never really met just won a trophy?

I&#039;m as big of a hockey (and football) fan as anyone else, but every time a riot happens it just boggles the mind that people can take an occasion like that and turn it into pointless bedlam.]]></description>
