2k Sports should get back the rights for the NFL. NFL 2k6 was so much better than Madden 06. I’d love to see a comeback. Wish thinking.

EA’s games were much better 10 years ago when controlling the players was less complicated. I tend to think both titles kind of suck right now.

The 2K games were at a high level in the PS2/Xbox era but never adapted to the jump to “next gen.” I can’t blame anyone for being indifferent to the series if they tried it during recent years, sadly.

Tried NHL 2K10, wasn’t impressed with it. I’m not all that sorry to see the franchise die out- at the end of the day, it seemed to never be quite as good as EA’s version. But I DO lament that EA now has no direct competition- look what good that did for the Madden series. If you’re not pushed to get better every year, you don’t, and Madden proved it. Hopefully the NHL ‘XX crew won’t fall into the same trap.

Its hard to get over that monster that is EA. 2K makes a good baseball game and I have heard good things about their past hockey games. They need to find a way to make themselves different, what about College Hockey? Maybe too small a market for that though.
