1) It’s a head case deal as govtminion pointed out. They struggled badly between the ears.
2) It was also a ‘fatigue’ deal. The Detroit series simply wore them out and caused ‘fatigue’ mistakes.

All it takes is ’1′ San Jose – to become a Champ.
The hard part is that teams like Detroit are reloading from some ‘age’ issues, and will be better.
It won’t get any easier than this year. This was the Sharks best opportunity yet.

If the officials helped the Canucks, Ben Eager sure helped the officials. Bottom line, the Sharks took dumb penalties at the wrong times and it cost them two of those games directly.

If you let the official’s calls determine your fate, you’re cutting it too close. Zebras will be zebras but you can’t allow a game to be so close that one or two calls determine the outcome.

It had alot to do with horrific calls that made no sense. Vancouver won with a little help from the officials

What went wrong is that they are the Sharks and they do this every year
