Winnipeg is almost 10x smaller than Atl and may not support another team any better than it supported the Jets. Part of the reason the Jets couldn’t make it in the league is because the players didn’t like Winnipegs location and small market atmosphere. Also, if the economy goes south again, there is not enough population in Winnipeg to keep the team solvent.
