		<description><![CDATA[It is worth noting that allowing so many shots on goal is not a major worry for Boston because of the way they play defense.  Boston plays a very condensed, almost passive defense that allows other teams the outside virtually uncontested.  This allows for a great deal of shots on goal but not many are credible scoring attempts - they&#039;re all long blasts from the blueline or tough angle shots while rebounds get cleared out.

tl:dr - It&#039;s not Boston&#039;s personnel on the blueline, it is their defensive style that leads to such high shot totals.]]></description>
