Because of this, the use of logos in any form HAS to be nixed right away. In the case of the dealership that had the Canucks name, they also had an old logo displayed which is also why they were told to remove it. Just the name, in the non-official font, I’m sure would be okay, though…(hey, everyone likes Comic Sans, right!)

Buzz kill or not, it’s just the NHL’s legal department protecting their logos and trademarks because they have to.

Not sure what the deal with the green men are… Was someone throwing them on the ice?

They never seem to do anything vulgar or obscene, just playful jabs (The Carrie Underwood in a Canuck’s jersey cutout that was used to taunt Mike Fisher was brilliant). There are worst things for kids to see on television or at the arena.
