Yep, 0-3 just too deep of a hole. Great effort though.

This one will scar the Canucks for the next series with second guesses and lack of confidence.

Even in winning the series, that was a horrendous melt-down.

It's probably good for a young team to experience a bit of adversity. They will come back next year stronger than ever and hopefully with a bit of a chip. Thanks for a great season Blackhawks!

I'm not sure how much of the season and/or series you really watched, but I've got to call out your 3rd point, as it's virtually backwards.

Duncan Keith and Brent Seabrook both had not only "subpar" seasons, but BAD seasons. While Duncan Keith finally scored some points in a couple of games this series, he also made a lot of irresponsible plays, and got pinned in his own zone along with his D partner for long periods of time far too often.

You've judged the defense almost entirely on their offensive contributions - which isn't an entirely invalid thing to look at, but it's certainly VERY incomplete.

Had Keith and Seabrook played to anywhere near their respective levels of play last year, the series would have been much different. It's hard for the offense to get much going when the defense can't seem to successfully clear the zone.
