On my Red Wings team, Modano is along for the ride… riding squarely on the skirt-tails of true Red Wing players like Nick, Dats, Hank, Mule, and Holms.

Babs thought MM might show some flashes of past brilliance a one or two points during the year, or at least be a consistant role player. For 1mil, why not at least try, right? Basically, there has been no brilliance, no flash, only a role and a substandard role at that.
