No longer plays with an edge but more tentative. He could be a lot better and effective with his old edge without being dirty. I think he’s paranoid. If you watch the hit closely, the principle point of contact is not the head…. Bertuzzi’s elbow actually hit Johnsons shoulder and rode up into his head. Thats probably why there was no suspension. Not to mention Johnson sorta ducked right into it in an effort to avoid the hit.

It wouldn’t have been a shock to see a one game given the attention on headshots right now… but I’m fine with no suspension for this hit.
