Plus there was the LaRose penalty shot that could have very easily been a 2-minute minor, then again LaRose didn’t score on the shot so I guess it worked out.

Officiating in the Cap / Canes matchup wasn’t great either. Red white jesus sustained a bloody gash across his face in the second and there was no call.

Officiating for the Buffalo / Toronto was just plain sad. Gaustad gets a penalty for being punched out of nowhere below the belt? I really think the officials of that game need to be investigated because noone makes calls like that without having money on the game.
