He faced 35 shots and gave up one “bad” goal. Detroit took the play to the Caps most of the night. And the Caps went 0 for 4 on the power play. I was glad that Boudreau gave Neuvirth some work to get him geared up for the playoffs. As great as Holtby has played recently, there is no guarantee that he will be the starting goalie when the post-season begins.
