Whether you’re interested for fantasy hockey reasons or just want to know which goalie your team is playing in a given day, we thought it might be helpful to share our best guesses (based on various previews from newspapers and Web sites plus our own instincts) on who might start each day.

5:00 pm ET game

Ottawa @ Buffalo

Likely Ottawa starter: Craig Anderson (Source.)

Likely Buffalo starter: Jhonas Enroth - If Patrick Lalime had a more accurate title than “backup goalie” in Buffalo, what would it be? Would it be unofficial extra goalie coach, professional Ryan Miller buddy or what? It just seems like a silly situation, but maybe there’s more than what meets the eye. (Source.)

8:00 pm ET game

Phoenix @ Anaheim

Likely Phoenix starter: Ilya Bryzgalov (Source.)

Likely Anaheim starter: Dan Ellis - Unless Jonas Hiller unexpectedly manages to get back to full health, Ellis should get most - if not all - of the starts in Anaheim for the rest of the season.
