Quote: the fact hes not liked by most NHL players....

Guess that would explain why he easily won the player voting at the All-Star break for:

Best Role Model
Smartest Player
Player you would build a franchise around (69%, 2nd place got 6%)
Toughest Forward to play against

And 2nd for:

Best Skater
Player most difficult to stop (only Goalies)
Hardest to take the puck off of

Yep, obviously universally disliked. Good call. You just keep spouting your hockey ignorance and the rest of us will keep laughing.

… if I was a Cindy Crysby fan....the fact hes not liked by most NHL players because of his whinning and diving ways....

Sounds like 1) you have more than a little bit of bias, and 2) you haven't actually watched him play since his first year in the league, therefore 3) your opinion is absolutely worthless

Well, while I doubt these rumors are true... if I was a Cindy Crysby fan I'd most certainly be worried.

First of all, we all know the Penguins have sugar coated how bad the situation is. Even today in the era of safty first when it comes to concusions, players just don't miss three months with that is described as a minor concusion. Yes, everyone is different and some take longer to come back then others... but when it takes you several months, your concusion is no longer "minor" and becomes a worry about your future.

When your first concusion is this bad... the prospects of your future are not good. Lindors? Savard any one? Crosby almost certainly has nothing but a long, or more likely, short career ahead of him filled with mediocer play... or more concusions. The way he likes to play, combined with the fact hes not liked by most NHL players because of his whinning and diving ways, Crosby is always at risk of another big hit. If he tones things down a bit, he won't be the same player. Its a real conundrum he has, and the prospects are not at all good.
