Whether you’re interested for fantasy hockey reasons or just want to know which goalie your team is playing in a given day, we thought it might be helpful to share our best guesses (based on various previews from newspapers and Web sites plus our own instincts) on who might start each day.

Pittsburgh @ New Jersey - 7 p.m.

Pittsburgh’s starter: Brent Johnson gets the call in goal to try and slow down the Devils. (Source)

New Jersey’s starter: Martin Brodeur gets the start once again for New Jersey. A rested and healthy Brodeur is about as scary to face as anyone in the league. (Source)

NY Rangers @ Ottawa - 7:30 p.m.

New York’s starter: Henrik Lundqvist makes his 11th straight start for the Rangers. With Martin Biron out, expect that number to go up. (Source)

Ottawa’s starter: Craig Anderson makes his seventh start for Ottawa. He’s been lights out since coming over from Colorado in a trade. (Source)

Carolina @ Chicago - 8:30 p.m.

Carolina’s starter: If you twisted our arms, we’d say that Cam Ward will most likely get the start for the Hurricanes.

Chicago’s starter: Corey Crawford will once again get the start for the Blackhawks. He, along with Jonathan Toews, have been key to Chicago’s resurgence in the west. (Source)

Columbus @ Calgary - 9 p.m.

Columbus’ starter: We’re going to guess that Mathieu Garon will start for Columbus as Steve Mason’s fallen on some hard times of late including a tough loss to Edmonton last night.

Calgary’s starter: Miikka Kiprusoff will start and look to get back to his shutout ways after a rough game against Chicago his last time out. (Source)

Dallas @ Anaheim - 10 p.m.

Dallas’ starter: Kari Lehtonen will start and look to extend Dallas’ win streak to four games. (Source)

Anaheim’s starter: We’re thinking Dan Ellis will keep things rolling in net for Anaheim. He’s been solid since coming over from Tampa Bay.
