Thanks for killing TV coverage of my Flyers NBC. Even Versus is smart enough only to pick up a single game so that the fans aren’t limited to watching some other market’s teams. When you pay $200 for NHL Center Ice, and $100 a month for the extended cable package to ensure you can watch almost every game your team plays, it is pretty annoying when NBC comes along with a “let’s screw everyone” scheme like today. It isn’t like anyone likes listening to Pierre McGuire cry all game long anyway.

It’s great that NBC is giving the NHL some coverage, but you are blocking out my access to see the Red Wings. I’v paid for the Center Ice package and since NBC is showing the game, Center Ice is not.The problem is, my NBC affiliate is showing Rangers vs Flyers. I’m in California. Hello!!! Western Conference! Detroit is a much more exciting team and the matchup with Minnesota has a lot more interest to us on the West Coast. If you’re not going to show the game don’t block us from seeing it on Center Ice.
