He didn’t even get suspended for the knee on knee to Ovechkin and 4 games isn’t going to deter these guys from doing these dirty things at any point in the future. It’s not just Cooke, other guys now see how bad Cooke has been, yet he only gets 4 games. All this stuff is just getting way out of hand and I put the blame squarely on the NHL head office. They’ve just done a terrible job of monitoring things and penalizing people for illegal acts. Also, idk what happened to Cooke because he doesn’t need to do this stuff. I swear in Vancouver, where he was a fan favourite, he never pulled this kinda stuff. I don’t think I could have been that blind not to remember that, could I?
