I can tell you that I disagree that Doc is anti-Philadelphia. I actually tell my wife all the time how Doc is one of the two best announcer of all sports that I have ever watched in America (Al Michaels is the other). He has a voice and sound to him that catches my attention.

I believe that you might dislike Doc because he is the Devils announcer. However, watch him on MSG and see how anti-Philadelpha he is. You will see he isn’t. He describes how refs miss penalties on the Devils all the time.

I do agree that the MSG+ color commentator is a horrible hometown announcer, but not Doc.
