Let's take a look at the likely starter for tonight's six contests.

Whether you’re interested for fantasy hockey reasons or just want to know which goalie your team is playing in a given day, we thought it might be helpful to share our best guesses (based on various previews from newspapers and Web sites plus our own instincts) on who might start each day.

7:00 PM ET games

New Jersey @ Boston

Likely New Jersey starter: Martin Brodeur – Will Marty and the Devils finally start getting some wins together? It sounds like he will get his chance to start stringing some together tonight. (Source for both: Tom Gulitti.)

Likely Boston starter: Tim Thomas – He didn’t play too poorly in Saturday’s 2-0 loss to the Senators, so it’s not crazy to give him another start. (Source for both: Tom Gulitti.)

Vancouver @ Buffalo

Likely Vancouver starter: Cory Schneider – Roberto Luongo gets a breather in favor of his backup Schneider. (Source: Nucks Misconduct.)

Likely Buffalo starter: Ryan Miller – The Sabres are starting to show signs of life right as Miller returns from injury. That’s probably not a coincidence. (Source: Die By the Blade.)

NY Rangers @ Pittsburgh

Likely NY Rangers starter: Henrik Lundqvist (Source: Rangers Twitter page.)

Likely Pittsburgh starter: Marc-Andre Fleury – The Penguins won two in a row, but can they keep it going in the not-so-friendly confines of their new arena? (Source: Inside Pittsburgh Sports.)

Ottawa @ Philadelphia

Likely Ottawa starter: Brian Elliott – He’s been far and away the best option in net for the Senators this season. Consider me in the “not surprised” camp. (Source: Silver Seven Sens.)

Likely Philadelphia starter: Sergei Bobrovsky – “Bob” is in a neck-and-neck battle with Michal Neuvirth for wins this season. It makes sense that he’ll get yet another start tonight. (Source: Tim Panaccio.)

8:00 PM ET game

St. Louis @ Colorado

Likely St. Louis starter: Jaroslav Halak – The Blues are starting to look human, which isn’t surprising considering the disparity between a cushy October and a tough November. (Source: St. Louis Today.)

Likely Colorado starter: Peter Budaj (Source: Dan O’Neill.)

10:30 PM ET game

Los Angeles @ San Jose

Likely Los Angeles starter: Jonathan Bernier – This could be a big test for the “other” Jonathan in net. (Source: Rich Hammond.)

Likely San Jose starter: Antero Niittymaki – Antti Niemi got the last start, so chances are high that the “1a” will get this one. (Source: David Pollak.)
