The way the Capitals’ Alexander Ovechkin and Alex Semin have been teaming up this year is the sort of thing that gets Capitals fans dreaming of the Stanley Cup. While you might assume that Semin would be feeding Ovechkin passes for goals, the reality is that it’s been exactly the opposite this year with Ovechkin playing the role of the dish master.  In the Caps 6-4 win over the Thrashers, Ovechkin shows that he’s capable of a soft touch on a pass as he connects with Alex Semin for a super goal to beat Chris Mason.
