Alexander Semin had an amazing night on Thursday, scoring three goals and two assists while helping the Washington Capitals beat the Tampa Bay Lightning 6-3.

In the video above, you can see Semin’s three goals. Watch as he goes from his first odd bounce to that unstoppable one-timer to a slam dunk of an empty-netter.

Meanwhile, in the video at the bottom of the post, Semin makes an outstanding individual play to earn what could have earned a penalty shot … only we never find out because he placed a perfect pass right into Alex Ovechkin’s wheelhouse for the 5-3 goal. However you feel about the Capitals, you have to love how the crowd roared for that goal.
