1-3 games… and its an easy call.

    He did not attack anyone.
    He did not hurt anyone.
He did not enter the crowd.
    No punches were thrown.

What happened was simply that a player briefly grabbed a fan as he left the bench… there was no fight, and no one was hurt. It was wrong of him, and he should be fined heavily and suspended for 1-3 games.

John Torttarela threw a full water bottle into the crowd at a fan, and was going to throw a stick at him until he was stopped. Yet his suspension was only 1 game, and hes a coach who should know better. As far as I’m concerned, throwing a full water bottle into the crowd could cause more damage then simply grabbing some ***hole by the shirt for a couple seconds. So going by that… the suspension shouldn’t be all that long.

I voted for 8-10. While it is true the incident & outcome were tame, you have to reinforce that boundary between the athletes and the fans.
