I'll have to also say "Its about time".
Though NYRFTW I will have to disagree on at least Rosizal (spelling?) IF he manages to play the way he did the final 10 games of the season last year. He was more solid on the puck, and showed he can actually score when he wants to. Hes still very expensive at 5 mil, and weak on the puck... but if he plays to his potential hes livable. Drury I totally agree with... he would be a fine player for 2.5 a year, but at 7 mil hes a huge waste of cap space.

It;s about time. Now we just need to get rid of Drury and Rosi to free up another 12 million. They need to stop signing old players and let everyone develop in their own system like most other teams in the league do. The league is now 18-27 years old with a few exceptions that's what a salary cap does. The Rangers need to get with the program and add the young kids to the roster because in todays NHL they are no longer considered young kids at 18-20 they are just considered full time players. The years of sending someone to the AHL team for 3 years are over. That's just wasting 3 seasons of a players career and that's a lot now because teams really don't want to even look at anyone over 30. Yeah there ae some exceptions but 30 is going to be the new 40 very soon if not already! You can let the 18-20 year olds play in the NHl now because every other team has their share of that same age range. It's not like the pre cap era where the average age on a team was like 30+. 30 is old now and everyone just has to face that. There is no point to giving a player 30 or older a contract when someone 18-20 can have the same production or higher at a fraction of the price.

It's about time. The Rangers need to get real and shed some more dead-weight - then change their management's attitude.
The players need to believe in themselves and outside of #30, I don't see it.
