First of all I was at the game and not all the fans were booing, in fact as far as I could see most were being supportive of him. Having said that many fans booed as well. Now I can understand if a fan wore a Halak shirt or expressed frustration with the Halak trade but you don't have to boo Carey Price while he's playing to do that. If they think that Montreal is such a bad team without Halak then why are they showing up for the game.
There are free agents who have refused to sign with Montreal precisely because of fans booing. Everybody wanted to believe that the only reason that Montreal played so well in the playoffs was Halak, but Montreal played well as a team. Every cab driver and his mother wants to pretend that they are bigger hockey experts than the GM but there is no excuse for taking it out on your own player. They did the same thing when Montreal chose Patrick Roy over whoever the hell it was. These were the same "fans" were whined and complained about Hal Gill, Cammallari, Gionta, Gomez, Mara and Moen. They never come back and admit that they are wrong, they just go ahead and keep whining about someone else. If you don't like they team they stop showing up for the games.

Who the hell are YOU? If fans get on a players back it doesn't exactly help. A true hockey fan supports their team and or players no matter what the outcome is.

What do you expect the fans to do when they traded the goalie that the fans wanted to keep. Price is an average goalie at best. And where does Cammalleri come off saying "If (the fans) want to identify with this team and be part of this team, we're all supporting him. So jump on board."? Who the hell is he? The fans run the team so it's more like if you want to identify with the fans you should get a new goalie. What the hell is he talking about? The fan base is a bigger part of a team than any one player will ever be. The fans give money to the organization, not take from it. The fans are the reason for the team being there, not past, current or future players. Cammalleri make me laugh. He had a couple good weeks in the playoffs last year now he feels like he can comment on how the fans are reacting to bum Price. Cammalleri should nver open his mouth again. Like I said who the hell is Mike Cammalleri? He's a nobody especially in that franchises history. Cammalleri should get price a case of tissues this year because he's going to need them.
