What is the problem with their owner believing that they win win a few cups in the future? Look at their team, if I owned them i'd be saying the same thing. They are one of the few teams that didn't take a step back in the league. They are set up to win a cup or 2 in the near future no doubt. Pittsburgh fell off and anyone that wants to argue they didn't is a homer Pitt fan. The Flyers will be their competition the next few years in the east. The west has a lot of great teams, so it will be tough to knock them off, but teams usually need to lose before they can in and it's just a matter of time before they do win the cup! At least their owner actually cares about the team and interacts with the fan base, unlike our horrible owner in NY. Dolan is a joke. He owns the Knicks and Rangers enough said! At least Ted Leonsis has lofty goals in place for his team. He is a top owner in the league and more owners like him are needed, but seemingly never welcomed in the league. Cuban and Basile would also make great owners, but Bettman would rather have bums owning teams who go to prision for embezzlement.

Hey Matt...blow me.
Bandwagon describes fans in EVERY fanbase when there's turmoil. Just like every team we have fans that were with the Caps all along.
