		<description><![CDATA[If this is indeed true, I certainly hope the contract is legit. If it is, then great. If its still questionable, and far too close to the original contract... then the NHL is going to look like it buckeled as soon as Kovalchuk threatened to bolt to Russia.
While a drug out battle with the Devils and Kovalchuk wouldn&#039;t be good, it also wouldn&#039;t be good at all for the NHL to get the reputation that players can push them around.]]></description>
