		<description><![CDATA[I&#039;ve said it before &amp; I&#039;ll say it again! Bettman is an idiot!!!
If you want to stop the &quot;dirty hits&quot;, it has to be done on the team level. A &quot;FINE&quot; and couple game suspension is not going to do it.
But if a team or player knows that a &quot;DIRTY HIT&quot; could cost them dearly, then those hits will become less &amp; less over time.
Money (fines) doesn&#039;t work alone, small suspensions doesn&#039;t work alone. But you combine a large fine with a month of game suspension and no-pay for that month of non-playing time, then players &amp; teams will think twice before they deliver that hit that could end a players career or a teams chances of making the playoffs.
