He has to, right? Because if he doesn’t, then that means that the Thrashers aren’t as far ahead of this rebuilding phase as everybody at PHT seems to think. I mean, they did get a new GM, you know. That proves…something. I’ll bet the Carolina Hurricanes, whose second line center is some douche named Brandon Sutter, are looking at Atlanta and thinking “gee, we wish we were as awesome as the Thrashers. They sure are having a bang-up offseason. Why can’t our franchise implode like that so we can get lots of plaudits from hockey blogs when we finally take baby steps towards mediocrity?”
