Rupp put up goals when he played with the 1st and second last year. I know he isn’t going to go 50 points but the grit and touch seems to be worth a try.

Yeah, he will be paired with a great talent, but he will also be seeing Chara and Pronger and others instead of 3rd pairing D-men. Does he become a true top-6 forward worth his salary…or does he stay an overpaid 3rd line centerman? And will the Pens have a true 3rd line or two 4th lines that you don’t have to worry much a about on the offensive side? Their other isssue is, is Fleury worth his pricetag?
