Forberg, although often injured, will always be my favorite player. Early in his career, he was fearless, going into corners to fetch the puck and found a way to get it to his teammates. This unfortunately probably has something to do with his constant groin injuries somehow.
He could score, pass, play D, a great skater, and he could hit someone better than most scoring forwards. Milan Hedjuk, although a solid player, wouldn’t have had the success in his early years without Pete on his line… Its a shame people have to talk trash about him because he seems to be not only a great player but a good person.
Grim, you’re probably some Canadian based person pissed off that Corey Hirsch got schooled by Foppa in 94 at Lillehammer…

Maybe “John” needs to ‘smoke a little act-right’ or just start by speaking on behalf of himself. Why read something if you have no interest in it? Obviously, whether good or bad, your interest was stricken to the point of not only reading this, but it brought ‘you’ as the fuel to the fire by allotting your personal animosities to comment on this as well. Not only did your sour and angry sentence contradict itself, but given the dimensional reality of this subject, I’d advise you to think before you write. I say this … “In all fathoms of reality, who really cares what YOU think.” Also, as far as the author’s grammar goes … maybe you should ask yourself why you, or your right hand, is afraid to utilize the comma. (This is just a thought, but commas tend to make it so people don’t have to reread your sentences more than once to obtain the understanding) o.O
-I appreciate this chance to, yet again, bash the ignorance out of the internet … one cocky bastard at a time. ^^;;
Oh yeah… And as for Foppa, bring his ass back to Colorado so our children of the Avalanche can blossom into little Forsberg’s!

He scored 30 points in 23 points for MODO last season? Why don’t you take the time to proofread James before posting? Then maybe people would take guys who babble about subjects we couldn’t care less about more seriously.

I guess someone needed to post a story. If you watched the Olympics, it was clear that Jagr could still play in the NHL but Forsberg could not. I’m in Flyer’s country and enjoyed watching Peter when he played for the Flyers. He was the best player on the ice in those days. Unfortunately those days are gone. I don’t think he has any intention of trying to get back into the NHL. It’s a meaningless article but it did get some comments. I guess that was the intention.

Colorado won’t take him again. They are staying focused on building from within and they have a couple of point per game potentials in Stastny, Duchene and Hedjuk. Better to leave the Forsberg glory days in 1994-2004. Hope you didn’t spend too much time writing this pipe dream article.

Isn’t he like 55 years old? How many times has he retired? Holmgren would be better off saving his cash and playing himself.
