It’s interesting that the article touts him as beating everyone up.The picture of Boogaard fight King in this article resulted in Boogaart missing several games because of a few solid right hands by King of St. Louis. Every bad guy can get his butt kicked including Boogaard.

If you factor in Ice time per night and how many games it takes to complete an hour of ice time, given their average ice time per night, Boogaard makes more money per hour than Sidney Crosby. (Boogaard 3.5m/game and Sid 21m/game) Boogaard makes 342000/h and Sid 314000/h. And yes, I do have too much time on my hands.

Since when has his ice time average moved up to 5 minutes per game? The guy plays maybe 3-3 1/2 minutes per game. What an absolute joke of a signing. Explains why the Rangers and the Oilers have been going nowhere fast. Can’t laugh too hard though as the Leafs wasted money and a roster spot on Colton Orr.
