raj: Serious? He has averaged 46 goals per year for the last 5 seasons, he has more assists than goals for the last 2 years, he puts up incredible minutes, and this most recent year he was a plus player on a losing team, and was 10-17-27 and a plus 9 for the devils over 27 games. In the play offs he was 2-4-6 from 5 games and even (even though the Devels went down 4-1.
Who in the NHL can put bet those numbers over those years? He has simply been on a weak team. Imagine what could have been.
Salary cap is hurting NHL, would be sad day to see him lost to KHL.

kovalchuk is a piece of shit.. no one should wonder what the kings' offer was.. kovy's worth no more than 7-8 mil per max.. i can't believe how overrated this guy has become in the past 6 months.. he's a one-dimensional player who scores and loses.. if ovechkin and crosby get paid 9 mil per, kovy's salary shouldn't approach that number

it's a done deal. I've said it from the beginning, it's Kings or KHL for Kovalchuk. I thought the Kings would be the only logical place to go to win sooner, especially sooner than the islanders. It seems Russia is the way he's going.
