Especially since the B’s need a LW with only Lucic and Thornton signed to start the year. Sturm’s injury is a pretty big concern for me that we aren’t hearing much about. With last year’s injury and now trying to come back 2 year’s in a row, you gotta wonder how he will be.
A move I feel the B’s need to make is getting rid of Ryder’s 4 mil. If we don’t trade Savard, and put Seguin on the wing, then we have a logjam at wing (Recchi, Horton, Seguin, Ryder, Wheeler-assuming he is back)
We need a LW bad, and if we can’t make a play on Ray Whitney, I think Tanguay is an option worth exploring
