Well, the Washington Capitals sure love Russians. Evgeny (or is it Yvgeni) Kuznetsov was the third-ranked European skater by Central Scouting. I was curious if he’d be a risky pick like Vladimir Tarasenko with St. Louis, but he showed up for the draft so chances are he’ll be available to the Capitals once he progresses enough to do so.
