Totally forbidding cross checking and hooking would clean up the game so much. An alternative would be to go to 4 on 4 for the whole game. It would make the game so exciting, with constant up and down action. It really highlights the beauty of hockey’s speed and skill, and puts it on full dispaly. NHLPA’s fears that it’ll reduce jobs is unfounded. There’s no need for total roster spots to change.
