I would never accuse Winnipeg hockey fans of not being knowledgeable. I’m sure they’re quite aware of the intricacies of the game and I’m sure they don’t need to be told when to cheer. Hockey is in their blood up there. As far as “rightful place” goes, Winnipeg deserves a team just as Quebec City does. Down the road they’ll get their team whether it’s the Coyotes or not. The Coyotes certainly seem like a logical choice though considering not many “huge fans” exist in the desert. The interest just isn’t here. It might also help if some of the cab drivers actually knew where Jobing.com actually was. I ran into that problem once. I think people down here will have to get a thicker skin and not react negatively to any old comment about the team moving because it’s only a matter of time. Sorry Ben and hugefan, just being realistic. Good luck Winnipeg!

Rightful Place, Rightful PLACE! Who anointed you the keeper of the right to where the Arizona Coyotes will play their games? Rick, you had an NHL game there in 2009 and all you could put in you little arena was 10000 curios people that had to told when to cheer. The team will play in Glendale this year and for many years to come. They will have been bought and payed for so the will be “The rightful place” for them to be. Toronto, Quebec and Hamilton are next in line for expansion according to Bettman

The only resolution that it will come to in the end is the team moving back to its rightful place, Winnipeg.
