Man, this is the only forum where I’ve read the comments of civil and gracious Flyer’s fans. As a lifelong Hawks fan, 41 years of age, this moment was the third best, next to the birth of my two kids. Tears welling up in my eyes, but hiding them from my kids. I really respect, and enjoyed watching the Flyers grit it out. They reminded me of the Hawks during the 80s, and early 90s. They’d bash you, hustle up and down the ice, but fall just short. You Flyer fans, even though this moment is a bitter one, should have nothing but pride in your team.

Hawks fan for 37 years, since I was five and old enough to understand hockey while watching with my dad.
Wonderful moment. The Flyers played like the classic NHL team they are, kudos to them and their fans.

wow the players arent the only ones speachless as a fan ive been waiting since i was born after 13 years i can finally say my favorite team note:i am not a retarded bangwagon fan they have been my team my whole life ever since i got into hockey and i can finally say they’re the champions its amazing congrats to all of them and lets go hawks

Not surprised the refs missed the goal, they missed a lot in this series (mostly hurting Chicago). Congrats Hawks, the better team won!

Congrats Chicago, I have been to your city a number of times. It is one of the friendliest and warmest city I have ever been to. The people there are fantistic.
