The Hawks played some of their worst hockey EVER last night. It was embarrassing. They were either so ill prepared or possibly over-prepared that they became inept in that first period. I've seen better stick handling and puck control in the IHL. How do you completely lose sight of a man standing right next to the net and leave him with a wide open shot? This is beginning to remind me of the Cubs versus the Padres in 1984. If there is a way to blow it, (outside of the 85 Bears and the Jordan Bulls) Chicago does it's damnedest to find a way. Go Hawks!! But I don't say it with the same conviction I had going into Game 1. Now it's Go Hawks, Don't Blow It!!
