Oh, and let us not forget that we get to hear that biography-of-a-Flyers-goal every time they show the replay of that goal at least a dozen times before every face-off for the rest of the period. That is, until the next Flyers goal for them to rave over.

It is clearly obvious that the announcers do NOT favor the Blackhawks, but the Flyers. This is proved because every intermission in Game 3 thus far, who has been interviewed and covered in depth? Flyers players. After Kane’s nice breakaway goal, the commentary was essentially: “Good pass ahead, good breakaway, good job.” A Flyers player scores a goal, and what happens? We have to hear the biography of how that Flyers player came to score that goal. Who touched it, who passed it, who passed it again, who almost lost the puck, who retreived it, who finally got it to the goal-scorer, and then we have to hear what that scoring player has been thinking about his approach to the game for the past 48 hours. Biased toward the Blackhawks? Please. The only thing missing is to hear one of these sorry “broadcasters” say “Let’s go down to the Blackhawks locker room now,” and for one of the other “broadcasters” to reply, “What the heck do we want to go down in there for??”
