The Hawks are underdogs simply because they’re a Chicago team, and the Flyers, East Coast and all, have the national media behind them. The Flyers did not get one penalty called, when they should have had 3 or 4 at least.
Nashville, Vancouver, and San Jose all blamed the officials for their teams losing and never gave ANY credit to the Hawks.

So it hit a guy on the bench and should’ve been whistled down, but that happens once and awhile. Refereeing is something that’s prone to human error, just like the game itself. I don’t think it’s a big deal. The Blackhawks obviously deserved to win.
