As a Ranger fan, I really hope the Flyers take the cup. The Brass at Madison Square Garden will be so embarrassed at hearing “Fire Sather” chants at deafening levels all during the upcoming hockey season.

Did you watch games 4 and 5? I do believe Carter scored two goals in the clinching game of the series…

no offence but dont u watch hockey? havent you heard of double overtime? and so on.. if there are no shootouts then they go into overtime and when that overtime is up they go on to another. yes its rare that, that happens… but in the playoffs there has been a few times in the past that, that was the case. i still think that the flyers would have scored their goal that they needed to bring themselves to right where they are today.

Of course, if there were no shootouts, the Rangers and Flyers wouldn’t have kept on playing – it would have been a tie, and also a game of no consequence, as the Flyers would have already clinched.
