Looks like the San Jose Sharks are not benefitting from the officials the way they had in the Detroit Series...The only reason they got by Detroit was the Power Play and they had way too many of them questionable to say the least against Detroit. Proven they could not play 5 on 5 so this series against the Blackhawks is pretty interesting.

The Hawks were just as physical as the Sharks and were faster at both ends. The Sharks have no answers for the Hawk attack and have played sloppily on offense, giving up the puck over and over again as the Hawks aggressively swiped at anything that got near them. The Hawks are great at penalty killing while shorthanded and are playing so disciplined that they have avoided getting penalties at bad times the way the Sharks have done. This series is over. It may go to five and the Hawks may win in San Jose, (big surprise) but there is NO WAY that the deflated and flacid Sharks are going to recover mentally from the whupping they have received. And for the record, the red Indianhead sweater is the best jersey in all of sports.

I wouldn't count the Sharks out yet... just remember what happened to Washington, Boston and Pittsburgh this year in the playoffs. Nothing is ever what it seems in the NHL.

The Sharks are WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE! They choke in big situations. They had a young Avalanche team, and an old Detroit in the first two rounds, both of whom not playing their best hockey at the time. The Hawks are hitting their stride in the most important time of the year, and they simply want it more. Sharks can't keep up, and it's showing. Just hope they close it out Sunday.
